 New Hampshire doesn't have the number of deer that a lot of southern states boast.  In fact, due to the nature of our rugged terrain, the local licensed hunter success rate is approximately 12%.  Hunting with us greatly increases your chances of success, and presence in the most productive "big buck" territory.  200+ pound bucks are not uncommon.  It's also not uncommon to go three or four full days without seeing deer.  Big bucks don't get to be big because they hang around with a bunch immature deer.  This is big woods and you will generally be hunting one to three specific, large deer. As with all of our hunts, we'd like to encourage you to bring a young hunter. We feel that it is very important to promote hunting with our younger people and strongly believe that this is the single-most important thing that we each can do to ensure the continued enjoyment of the outdoors for everyone.

 		 We're based out of western Maine in the heart of woodcock and grouse country. With training areas in both New Hampshire and Maine, we aim to accommodate gun dog people in all areas of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine as well. Our boarding facility is nestled in the Kennebec Valley in Caratunk Maine allowing us to train and guide on wild bird numbers throughout the entire year and liberated birds during brooding seasons. Conveniently enough, we are also in one of the most picturesque areas in Maine with brooks blessed with native brookies, and some of the best hunting and fishing all within reach. Having been in the north woods for the past ten years, our bird hunting coverts and prime runs of water have been efficiently scouted, managed, and monitored to make the most of your time while away from home. With landlocked salmon and brook trout eager to take flies and half day hunts for grouse and woodcock averaging thirty five flushes and up, there's never a dull moment.
