Big Buck Outfitters, Inc. hunts elk in Wyoming in Areas 37 and 38, both archery and rifle. In Area 37, the hunts are conducted on private land which consists of small ranches. When the elk hunting is good on these places, it is great, but when it is not great, it is tough – it is a bit hit or miss, so we like to combine these hunts with deer hunts and capitalize if the elk are there. The hunts in Area 38 are conducted on public land, but the area is remote and limited draw even for residents – this tends to regulate access and keep hunter numbers way down. |
